1. Confidence in Scale’s Reliability
I am very confident in the scale’s reliability. Given the Descriptive Statistics results, where all items have very similar means (3.80 – 4.01) and consistently low Standard Deviations (0.75 – 0.79), it is highly likely that the Cronbach’s Alpha score would be above 0.80.
2. Challenges in Writing Consistent Items
The biggest challenge was avoiding redundancy while maintaining consistency. I had to ensure that questions like "The tools are easy to navigate" and "The design is user-friendly" were distinct enough to provide value, but related enough to point toward the same underlying trait.
3. Improvements for the Next Draft
-
Add a few "Negative" (Reverse-coded) items: For example, "I find the AI interface confusing." This helps catch respondents who just click "5" for everything without reading.
-
Broaden the scope: While the current items focus on "technical" ease of use, I could add items about the "quality of instructions" or "customer support" to see if those affect the overall perception of user-friendliness.
