I have read the introduction of the thesis with the title “the impact of cake app on enhancing TOEIC speaking competence for EFL learners
at a private English Center in Ho Chi Minh City” of the author Hua Tran Thanh Truc. In my perspective, this introduction is effective due to some reasons. Firstly, it presents from the wider context of English learning to the advent and applications of specific app. Secondly, it encompasses the aim of the research, research questions and the significance of the research. In term of the research questions, they are so clear which one is quantitative-oriented and which one is qualitative-oriented. The thesis contributes solutions to enhancing the effectiveness of enhancing TOEIC speaking competence for EFL learners. I think this is a well-written introduction for me to take as a reference.
