I really like your good survey question because it is clear and easy to understand. It focuses on one specific idea, so respondents can answer it without confusion.
I also understand why you consider the second question as a bad one. It combines different ideas and may lead respondents to think in a certain direction. Maybe separating it into two simpler questions or using more neutral wording could make it clearer. Just a small suggestion from my side.
