Research objectives:
In order to better understand why third-year students in Ho Chi Minh City use Generative AI to support their writing skills in English classes, some impacts would be examined in this study. Additionally, the study provided some helpful suggestions for English lecturers in Ho Chi Minh City regarding how to apply Generative AI into their teaching to help their students improve writing skills.
Research questions:
Based on the stated objectives, this research is conducted to address the following questions:
1/ What advantages do third-year students perceive when using Generative AI to support their writing skills?
2/ What disadvantages do third-year students perceive when using Generative AI to support their writing skills?
3/ Why do third-year students prefer using Generative AI to support their writing skills rather than traditional methods?
