Working Title: The Role of AI-Powered Chatbots in Enhancing L2 Speaking Fluency Among University Students.
Main Research Aim: The objective of this research is to evaluate how consistent interaction with AI chatbots (like ChatGPT or Claude) affects the oral fluency and confidence of English as a Second Language (ESL) learners. I aim to determine if a low-stakes, digital environment reduces "language anxiety" compared to traditional classroom settings.
Research Questions:

How does daily interaction with AI chatbots for a four-week period affect a student's self-reported confidence in speaking English?

Is there a measurable improvement in "Speech Rate" (words per minute) after a month of AI-assisted practice?
Planned Methodology: I will adopt a Mixed-Methods approach.
